The aim of this project is to propose an innovative way of sharing models, components and
components groups among users using the system on the same cluster. It should allow a user to
select part of his model and store it in some kind of library for future reuse (the user should be able
to paste the selection back in another model later) like it is done on tools like Autocad for example.
In addition, the user should be able to publish part of his library for other people in the group to
reuse in their own models without owning the original design. The students will have to come with
a model to support such features. The requirements are close to the Unix owner ship system and
will have to be implemented on model database level.
The outcome of the project should be a small demonstration program made with any kind of
programming language and more important of all a document describing the different issues that
they had to solved, what kind of limitation they have been forced into, etc ... in order to evaluate the
possibility to move this feature into production code.
